     South Island Music, Inc. was created in 1997 by Mrs. Susan C. Gallo, MS, Music Ed, a New York State Certified Teacher and active professional woodwind player from New York City for over 35 years, for the purpose of providing high quality music instruction to students of all ages and levels on Long Island. A resident  of Bellmore and Wantagh since 1990, Mrs. Gallo began to see the need for quality private music instruction in Nassau County when her own weekly student clientele began to exceed 50. Since then, South Island Music, Inc. has grown into a high-quality professional Long Island music studio which includes professional instructors who teach students of all ages and levels In HOME AND IN STUDIO throughout Nassau County. South Island Music, Inc.’s studio  offers the finest professional,  personable, high quality musicians, many from exceptional educational backgrounds, some NYS Certified Teachers, whose talents,  experience and enjoyment of teaching greatly inspire students of all ages and levels. 

South Island Music, Inc., conveniently located off the Wantagh Parkway and Merrick Road in Wantagh, also  specializes in NYSSMA preparation and offers both in-home and in-studio instruction to students of all ages and levels.
